Ordinary PA66 plastic fasteners only suit normal temperature environment. Modified plastic fasteners are necessary for lithium battery explosion-proof, semiconductor workshop, cryogenic equipment and chemical industry. plasticfastener produces five series modified plastic fasteners, with standard parameters and mature assembly solutions.

1. Five Modified plastic fastener Classification

  • V0 Halogen-free Flame Retardant: UL94-V0, used for charging piles and energy storage cabinets;
  • Anti-static Carbon Fiber Modified: surface resistance 10^3~10^9Ω, prevent static breakdown for chips & lithium batteries;
  • Cryogenic Toughened PEEK: keep toughness at -196℃, for aerospace & alpine base stations;
  • Carbon Fiber Reinforced: high strength & low creep, for high vibration machinery;
  • PTFE-filled Corrosion-resistant PPS/PEEK: resistant to strong acid & alkali, applied in chemical pickling equipment.

2. Industry Special Material Matching

  • Lithium Battery Pack: anti-static GF-PA66 + V0 PPS, torque reduced by 20% with anti-loosening washers;
  • Semiconductor Cleanroom: low-dust permanent anti-static fasteners, no secondary pollution;
  • Chemical Equipment: PTFE-filled fasteners, fully plastic assembly without metal contact.
  • 3. Three-stage Anti-loosening System

  • Level1 slight vibration: plastic flat washer; Level2 medium vibration: glass fiber fastener + wave washer + thread coating; Level3 severe vibration: carbon fiber PEEK + locking washer + high-temperature thread locker.
  • 4. Modified Plastic Common Faults & Solutions

  • Anti-static resistance drift: adopt internal carbon fiber doping instead of surface coating; Flame retardant embrittlement: upgrade to PPS material; Low-temperature thread slipping: use toughened PEEK and reserve assembly gap; PTFE thread wear: limit PTFE to static sealing only.
  • 5. Precision Assembly Standard

    Use precision torque screwdriver, vertical installation, constant temperature pretreatment, re-tightening after heating operation, limit repeated disassembly times.
